How the Daily Success Program Works

Daily Success is a program designed to help men and women develop and maintain the spiritual discipline of Scripture meditation. This is accomplished by the following:

  1. Receiving Daily Encouragement and Instruction
A series of daily e-mails will be sent to you for 49 weeks that provide instruction and encouragement to meditate on the verses containing general commands of Christ.
  2. Meditating on One Command of Christ Each Week
Start by memorizing the command to facilitate your day and night meditation. As you meditate, ask God to reveal to you its meaning and application.
  3. Applying and Sharing What You Are Learning
Look for opportunities to apply the command throughout the day and also to share it with your family and others. By reporting what God is doing in our lives through meditation, we also deepen our own grasp of the verse and often see new applications.
  4. Recording Your Insights and Experiences
Keep a journal of your struggles, victories, and the blessings that you and your family are experiencing. This record of your walk with the Lord will not only help you become more aware of what God is teaching you, but also be a heritage for future generations.
  5. Being Accountable to Others for Consistency and Encouragement Because of the challenges that come in developing any discipline in our lives, we recommend that every participant be accountable to others for mutual support and encouragement.

Program Objectives

The Bible is the “instruction manual” for life given to us by our Creator. Because of this, it is only natural that success would come by following His commands given in the Scriptures. What are His commands? How do we make them an active part of our lives? How do we exchange our earthly understanding for God’s wisdom?

Meditation on Scripture is the activity through which God is able to instruct and direct us from His Word. It is the way in which He can replace our thoughts with His thoughts, enabling us to view life from His perspective.

The Daily Success plan will accomplish great results when participants develop the consistent habit of meditating on Scripture and applying it to their lives. If this goal is achieved, God guarantees “good success” will be the result.

Ten Program Objectives

  1. Learning God’s primary requirement for continuous success and prosperity. “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success” (Joshua 1:8).
  2. Keeping Christ’s commands before your eyes, which allows God to fulfill His love in you and answer all your prayers. “He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him” (John 14:21).
  3. Identifying God’s five purposes for your life and helping you fulfill them: to be a successful person, provider, proclaimer of truth, marriage partner, and parent. “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them” (Ephesians 2:10).
  4. Discovering the “secret” of a successful day, which is to begin it in the evening rather than in the morning. “And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day” (Genesis 1:5).
  5. Understanding how to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, which will then allow Him to add everything else of importance to our lives. “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you” (Matthew 6:33).
  6. Developing 49 character qualities that are by-products of learning 49 general commands of Christ. These qualities conform us to the image of Christ. “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son” (Romans 8:28–29).
  7. Expanding your vision and understanding of how to apply each command through additional online study tools.
  8. Encouraging you through daily e-mails. “But exhort one another daily, while it is called To-day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin” (Hebrews 3:13).
  9. Being accountable to others who are equally committed to daily success. “Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend” (Proverbs 27:17).
  10. Recording your progress and God’s rewards in a journal that you can share with your family and benefit generations to come.
